Ich mag schmale, abstrakte Figuren und so entstand nach einigen Skizzen und Versuchen dieser Mann. Dass man nicht nur jemanden um den Finger wickeln, sondern auch eine Figur umwickeln kann, zeige ich in diesem Werk. Eine besondere Herausforderung stellte der Sockel dar. Nichts wollte anfangs passen, so dauerte es mehrere Monate, bis spontan eine Idee auftauchte, auf Machbarkeit geprüft und umgesetzt wurde. Ich sägte kleine Holzwürfel, schliff und bemalte diese und passte die Figur ein.

I like thin, abstract figures, and so after a few sketches and attempts, this man came into being. In this work, I show that you can not only wrap someone around your finger, but also wrap a figure. The base initially presented a special challenge. Nothing seemed to fit at first, so it took several months until an idea spontaneously emerged, was tested for feasibility, and implemented. I sawed small wooden cubes, sanded and painted them, and fitted the figure into place.
