Ein Spiegel der Zeit: e·motion steht sowohl für unsere mit dem Auto verbundenen Emotionen als auch für die hitzig diskutierte Elektromobilität. Ein wahrlich bewegendes Thema.
Das Tempo der technologischen Entwicklung ist atemberaubend, die menschliche hingegen scheint im Vergleich stillzusehen. Aus dem ersten motorgetriebenen Automobil mit dem Bertha Benz nebst Söhnen 1888 und wenigen PS heimlich die erste dokumentierte Fernfahrt unternahm, ist heute ein (fast) autonom fahrendes E-Mobil geworden.
Immense technische Fortschritte halten Einzug doch nun stehen wir vor großen Herausforderungen in Sachen Nachhaltigkeit. Der Optimist in mir glaubt an den Erfindergeist: Lösungen statt Stillstand und einspurigem Denken.

The pace of technological development is breathtaking, while human development seems to stand still in comparison. The first motorized automobile with which Bertha Benz and her sons secretly made the first documented long-distance journey in 1888 with just a few horsepower has now become an (almost) autonomous electric car.
Immense technical progress is being made, but we are now facing major challenges in terms of sustainability. The optimist in me believes in the spirit of invention: solutions instead of stagnation and single-track thinking.
