Manchmal muss es eben ein bisschen mehr sein. Und so nutzte ich die erstellte Illustration noch ein zweites Mal und ließ die Form an sich wirken. Zudem bespannte ich den Basiskörper mit einem schwarzen Samtstoff. Da wurden Erinnerungen an die Kindergartenzeit wach, denn die Kombination aus etwas Kleber an den Fingern und Stofffusseln… Sie können sich vorstellen, dass meine Hände beinahe eins wurden mit meinem Werk. Wie schon beim ersten Exemplar baute ich die Schnauze auf und auch die Drahtschnurrhaare durften nicht fehlen. Als kleines i-Tüpfelchen klebte ich noch kleine Metallplättchen auf.

Sometimes it just has to be a bit more. And so I used the illustration I had created a second time and let the shape itself take on its effect. I additionally covered the basic body with a black velvet fabric. This brought back memories of my kindergarten days, because the combination of a bit of glue on my fingers and fabric fluff… As you can imagine, my hands almost became one with my work. Like the first one, I constructed the snout on a second layer and also added the wire whiskers. As the icing on the cake, I glued on small metal plates.
