Aller guten Dinge sind DREI… Bei all den Kriegen und anderem Wahnsinn auf der Welt suche ich einen künstlerischen Weg auf diejenigen aufmerksam zu machen, die all dies völlig sinnlos trifft: Die Unschuldigen.

Wir alle bewegen uns auf dünnem Eis und können – wie sich gerade zeigt – jederzeit selbst betroffen sein (die Granate – nur nicht den Stift ziehen, bitte!). Und warum das Schaf? Ich liebe Schafe und Ziegen und beobachte sie gerne und ach, wenn sie im Chor blöken, die verschiedenen Stimmen sich abzeichnen, es begeistert mich seit Kindheitstagen. Friedlich und zufrieden grasen, dösen, schlafen, laufen sie über unsere Wiesen. Die Unschuld auf vier Beinen.

Ich bin froh, dass ich in meiner halbwegs heilen Bubble sitze und wenn auf hohem Niveau jammere. Ich wünsche mir eine friedliche und freundliche Welt. Machen Sie mit?

Das Granatenschaf hat mich richtig gepackt und da sich der „echte“ Plattenspieler bzw. die „echte“ Schallplatte mit dem Granatenschaf schlecht transportieren lässt, habe ich eine digitale Illustration erstellt. Immer wieder eine Herausforderung und spannend zugleich: Was zeige ich mit welchen Details? Was lasse ich weg?

Auf Anfrage gerne als Druck auf Leinwand oder Plakat erhältlich. Da es sich um eine Vektor-Illustration handelt, kann dieser beliebig groß ausfallen.

All GOOD things come in THREES… With all the wars and other madness in the world, I’m looking for an artistic way to draw attention to those whom all this affects completely senselessly: the innocent.

We’re all walking on thin ice and—as we’re seeing right now—could be affected ourselves at any moment (the grenade—just don’t pull the pin, please!). And why the sheep? I love sheep and goats and enjoy watching them, and oh, when they bleat in unison, with their different voices standing out—it has fascinated me since childhood. Grazing peacefully and contentedly, dozing, sleeping, they roam our meadows. Innocence on four legs.

I’m glad I’m sitting in my reasonably intact bubble, even if I’m whining at a high level. I wish for a peaceful and friendly world. Will you join me?

The grenade sheep really grabbed me, and since the “real” record player or the “real” record with the grenade sheep is hard to transport, I created a digital illustration. It’s always a challenge and exciting at the same time: What do I show, and with what details? What do I leave out?
