Ich freue mich, mit drei Werken in der Werkschau vertreten zu sein. Für diese Ausstellung gab es keine thematische Vorgabe. Dies ist erst einmal ungewohnt und dennoch spannend, denn nicht alle Werke passen zu einem Thema und sind dennoch eine Herzensangelegenheit für uns Künstlerinnen und Künstler.

Wir laden Sie herzlich ein und ich ergänze hier den Text vom Flyer:

Der BBK Celle ändert etwas. Zum ersten Mal findet die Sommerausstellung ohne thematische Vorgabe statt. Kein Motto, kein kuratorischer Rahmen. Nur die Frage: Wo stehe ich gerade?

Was beschäftigt einen Künstler, eine Künstlerin in der Zeit, in der wir leben? Welche Themen, welche Formen, welche Fragen? Der Verein hat 48 Mitglieder und jedes davon eine eigene künstlerische Haltung. Die Ausstellung gibt einem Teil davon Raum. Ein ehrlicher Querschnitt durch das was gerade entsteht.

I am delighted that three of my works are part of the exhibition. There was no specific theme this time. This is a bit unusual at a first glance, yet exciting, because not all works match a theme, and yet they are all close to our hearts as artists.

The BBK Celle is breaking new ground. For the first time, the summer exhibition is taking place without a thematic guideline. No motto, no curatorial framework. Just the question: Where do I stand right now?

What preoccupies an artist in the times we live in? What themes, what forms, what questions? The association has 48 members, each with their own artistic perspective. The exhibition gives room to some of them. An honest cross-section of what is currently emerging.
