Die Idee für dieses Werk hatte ich bereits vor ein paar Jahren, begann es zu malen und fügte zu viele Elemente hinzu. Hinfallen, Krone richten und nun am Computer illustriert und in einer Aufbautechnik umgesetzt. Zu lange scheute ich mich davor, meine Kenntnisse als Illustratorin zu nutzen. Warum? Das ist eine gute Frage und ach, ich habe mich für einfach mal machen entschieden.

Nichts existiert ohne Vergangenheit, oder doch? Dieses Werk greift augenzwinkernd und neu verpackt die uralte philosophische Frage auf: Was war zuerst da, TEEei oder TEEhuhn?
Alles entwickelt sich (heiter) weiter, die Evolution des Teeeis zum Teehuhn scheint eine logische Konsequenz.

I had the idea for this work a few years ago, started to paint it and added too many elements. Falling down, straightening the crown and now illustrated on the computer and implemented in a construction technique. For too long I shied away from using my skills as an illustrator. Why? That’s a good question and oh, I decided to just go for it.

Nothing exists without a past, or does it? This work takes up the age-old philosophical question in a tongue-in-cheek and repackaged way: Which came 1st, TEAegg or TEAchicken?
Everything evolves (cheerfully), the evolution of the tea egg to the tea chicken seems a logical consequence.
