Ich illustriere seit über 20 Jahre im technischen Bereich und es dauerte lange, bis ich auch dies für meine Kunst entdeckte. Ein Online-Kurs bei Mads Berg, einem ganz wunderbaren Illustrator, führte zu diesem Werk.

Das Thema Cocktail inspirierte mich. Der Pool ist in Form eines Cocktail-Shakers dargestellt, der Rest visualisiert die „Leichtigkeit des Seins“, die ich in letzter Zeit all zu häufig selber suche.

Schön ist, dass diese Vektor-Zeichnungen viele Möglichkeiten eröffnen, die Formate lassen sich anpassen und variieren. Und so ließ ich das Werk als 2×1 Meter großen Banner drucken. Die Qualität ist einfach in jeder Größe Klasse.

I’ve been illustrating in the technical field for over 20 years, and it took me a long time to discover this approach for my art as well. An online course with Mads Berg, a truly wonderful illustrator, led to this piece.
The cocktail theme inspired me. The pool is depicted in the shape of a cocktail shaker, while the rest of the composition visualizes the “lightness of being” that I’ve been seeking all too often myself lately.

What’s nice is that these vector drawings open up a lot of possibilities, the formats can be adjusted and varied. And so I had the work printed as a 2×1 meter banner. The quality is simply superb at any size.
